Since 2016, our church has been led by Tim and Caleb Smith, a father-son co-pastor team.
Tim Smith
Tim serves as co-pastor at Aurora Springs Baptist Church and has been in the pastoral ministry for almost 40 years. Before coming to Eldon, he was the pastor at FBC Ewing in northeast Missouri for 20 years, and in his early years of preaching was at Mount Tabor.
He and his wife, Lori, have been married since 1984, have four grown kids and nine grandchildren they love spending time with. He enjoys rebuilding cars, road trips to Colorado, and taking afternoon naps in his recliner.
Caleb Smith
Caleb serves as the worship leader and co-pastor of Aurora Springs Baptist Church, where he has faithfully ministered since 2016. A graduate of Hannibal-LaGrange University, he later earned his MDIV from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He has been married to his wife, Melissa, since January 2011, and together they are raising three children. In addition to ministry, he enjoys woodworking, gardening, and sipping americanos at Brew Brothers Coffee.
